Responsibility Card (R-Card)
Our campus communicates with the R-Card system. The purpose of the R-Card is to communicate behavior and academics between school and home. We are requiring that the R-Card is signed each week to acknowledge grades, as well as behavior, for the previous week. Your learner will only need a signature if they have broken a rule. If your child has a behavior that needs support, there will be a mark on their R-Card, there will also be a note in their agenda. Please see your child’s agenda each evening and review any notes and homework.

At Desert Oasis, we have a few different ways we like to communicate between school and home. Contact by phone or email will always be an option.

One way is the agenda that each student will receive. In the agenda, students will fill out their agendas with daily objectives, daily assignments, and important dates coming up. Teachers may write updates, quick behavior notes, or celebration notes.

Another way to communicate is the Nightly Take Home Folder. The right side of the folder is "Return to School.“ Things like homework, field trip forms, forms from the front office, papers that need to be signed, etc. The left side of the folder is "Keep at Home" This includes graded work, brochures, school flyers, etc..
