Welcome back to Desert Oasis Elementary School!
My name is Ms. Ervin and I am excited to be your child's 2nd grade teacher. I have worked in the education field by volunteering for several years. I have my Bachelors of Science in Business & Management and several courses in Child Psychology, Early Childhood Development, Human Development, and Sports Psychology. I worked for a large corporation for several years as an Engineer Cost Administrator, Project Coordinator and Office Administrator. I am married with four children.
In my spare time I
enjoy reading, sking, singing, hiking and creating photo montages. I love the outdoors and all that nature offers.
My Teaching Philosophy
I believe all children have the right to learn and grow! It is my mission as your child's teacher to provide a loving and stable learning environment so all students can reach their full potential. I treasure each one of my students and each of their different outlooks brings greater discovery into the classroom. I am here to support your child so that he or she will develop competence and confidence.
